At the heart of our brand is a commitment to pure fabrics, unique designs, comfort, and enduring elegance. We believe that beautiful clothing should not only look exceptional but also feel comfortable and meaningful to wear.
Our designs are therefore created with careful attention to fabric, detailing, colour, silhouette, and finish. From a hand-embroidered yoke to the fall of a dupatta, from the texture of a handwoven fabric to the smallest stitch, we believe every detail deserves to be seen, valued and celebrated.
Every Saaj has a maker. And every maker has a story.
To empower artisans and women-led Self Help Groups by bringing their craftsmanship to contemporary women's fashion, creating sustainable livelihoods while making Indian artistry accessible through e-commerce.
To become a platform where Indian craftsmanship meets contemporary women, preserving traditions, empowering creators, and making every Saaj a story of beauty, dignity and opportunity.
Saaj is more than what we wear. In our Indian traditions, Saaj is the beautiful act of adorning oneself, from choosing a colour, draping a saree, wearing an embroidered suit, to adding a little detail that makes us feel beautiful and confident.
But behind every beautiful Saaj is another story, of the hands that creates it. Saajbynidhi was born from this thought.
We believe that fashion should not only celebrate the woman who wears it, but also the women and artisans who make it possible. Across India, countless artisans, craftspeople and women associated with Self Help Groups carry generations of skills in their hands. They embroider, weave, print, stitch and create often quietly, while balancing homes, families and livelihoods. Saajbynidhi brings their stories to you.
When you choose Saajbynidhi, you are not simply choosing a saree, suit or a piece of clothing. You are choosing craftsmanship. You are supporting a livelihood. You are helping preserve a skill and you are becoming part of a story that connects heritage across India, the artisan who creates and the woman who wears.
Because we believe that true beauty is not just in how a garment looks. It is in the hands that made it, the story behind it, and the confidence it gives the woman who wears it.
Our e-commerce platform is a bridge between the hands that create and the women who wear. We work towards creating opportunities for artisans and Self-Help Groups by bringing their craftsmanship into contemporary women’s clothing, making traditional skills relevant to today's woman while helping create sustainable livelihoods.
While our roots are deeply traditional, our cuts and fits are designed for the comfort and movement of today's modern woman.
From the first thread to the final stitch, Our artisans ensure every piece passes rigorous quality checks. Premium fabrics that breathe and last.
We champion the art of hand embroidery and block printing and other techniques supporting local artisans and preserving centuries-old traditions.
My journey towards Saajbynidhi has been shaped by two enduring passions — Indian textiles and the power of skills to transform lives.
With a Ph.D. in Skill Development and a Master’s in Textiles and Clothing, I have had the opportunity to work extensively for 30 years in the field of vocational education and skill development across India as well as in the Apparel Industry.
Over the years, I have seen first-hand how a skill, when nurtured and given the right opportunity, can become much more than a livelihood; it can become a source of confidence, dignity, independence, and identity.
With experience of conducting webinars and workshops and providing fashion & textile-related consultancy services for livelihood enhancement looking forward to disseminating knowledge through this platform.
At the same time, my love for India's rich textile and cultural heritage has continued to grow. Our country has an extraordinary legacy of weaving, embroidery, printing, dyeing, stitching, and many other crafts, with knowledge passed down through generations.
Behind these traditions are countless skilled artisans and women who create beautiful products, often without receiving the visibility or market access they deserve.
With warm Regards

Saajbynidhi
